Vivienne’s Cottage is a small business operated from the Granite Belt region in Queensland. We produce one of the finest blends of homemade Sri Lankan curry spices and much more to satisfy your taste buds.
My name is Vivienne and I migrated to Australia from Sri Lanka 30 years ago. My passion for cooking was born from a young age when I was taught to cook by my mother and grandmothers. For me, food was a way for me to retain ties to both my family as well as my culture and heritage.
As well as our permanent shop ‘Vivienne’s Cottage’ located in Stanthorpe, we also have pop-up stalls at weekly markets in the Granite Belt, Brisbane, Gold Coast region where we showcase our products.
I am also a full time lawyer and enjoy spending time with my family, making pottery, sewing and gardening! In fact, you’ll likely see a few of my pottery pieces on display at the markets!

Our best selling roasted Sri Lankan spice blend. An aromatic blend of spices that have been roasted and ground to perfection. The roasted version is more intense and is best used in meat curries. Be careful, you’ll only need a teaspoon or two to be completely hooked.
